Montreal, September 6, 2024 — Glacier FarmMedia is pleased to announce the appointment of Emmanuelle Arès as the new Publisher of Le Bulletin des agriculteurs. With a career rich in diverse experiences in the agricultural and media sectors, Ms. Arès is well positioned to lead Le Bulletin des agriculteurs’ mission: to share knowledge and innovation to help Quebec’s agricultural businesses thrive.
Emmanuelle Arès began her career at Le Bulletin des agriculteurs as a journalist from 2000 to 2005. She returned in 2021 as the Audience and Advertising Engagement Lead, where she supported the executive team, sales, and editorial management, while coordinating various special projects such as conferences and promotional campaigns.
A graduate in agronomy in 1998, Ms. Arès has also held key positions in the ornamental horticulture sector, notably as Editor-in-Chief of Québec Vert magazine, as a trainer, and as Manager of Commercial Sales. She has also worked with agro-environmental advisory clubs, which gave her a deep understanding of the industry.
As Publisher, Ms. Arès will lead Le Bulletin des agriculteurs team, succeeding Mr. Yvon Thérien, agronomist, who will retire in December 2024 after 20 years of dedicated service. Among her first projects, Ms. Arès will oversee the organization of the 25th anniversary of Le Bulletin des agriculteurs Conferences, which will take place next January at the Salon de l’agriculture.
