Bob has spent most of his 30 plus year career in the media business in weeklies and dailies in locations as diverse as the Cowichan Leader on Vancouver Island and the Charlottetown Guardian on PEI. In 2001, he joined the marketing division of the Manitoba Co-operator, which later became part of Glacier FarmMedia. He was appointed GFM’s Publisher in 2006, and President of Glacier FarmMedia in April 2012. Serving every province, the group now has a multitude of properties across various services, such as print, digital, events and premium subscription services. Bob is responsible for coordination of the group, while ensuring the continued strong identity of each of its brands, most of which have strong and deep roots in the Canadian agricultural community.

Lynda has being in the agricultural publishing industry since July of 1990. Over her more than 29 years of experience, Lynda has played a number of roles such as Classified Order Taker, Circulation Supervisor, Marketing Manager, Director of Advertising Sales and Vice-President. In addition to her role as executive vice-president of Glacier FarmMedia, Lynda also serves as Publisher of Glacier FarmMedia which includes titles such as Manitoba Cooperator, Canadian Cattlemen, Grainews, Country Guide, Alberta Farmer Express, Farmtario and AgDealer.
Vice President of Strategic Planning and Publisher of The Western Producer
Rod Delahey, PAg, has spent more than 30 years working in various agricultural-related marketing, communications and sales roles, including owning his own marketing agency and serving agriculture clients from across Western Canada. Rod is a graduate from the College of Agriculture, University of Saskatchewan, and holds a professional agrologist designation. Rod’s passion for agriculture has led him to be heavily involved in the professional community. Notably, along with a team of five, Rod founded the Canadian Agri-Business Education Foundation, which encourages high school students to enroll in agriculture by providing annual scholarships. Rod is Publisher of The Western Producer and oversees strategic planning as part of Glacier FarmMedia.

Martin Robert, Ph.D., is a digital communication professional with more than 25 years of experience in life science communication and professional development. With a mixed background in communication, instructional design, user experience and artificial intelligence, he has worked with various organizations to successfully launch innovative technology-based products. Over his career, Martin has led digital product management, business development and consulting services teams for multiple agencies in Canada and the USA. As president, Martin led the digital life science education and communication agency of Glacier Media for 7 years. As part of Glacier FarmMedia, Martin oversees digital product development and the premium services businesses.

Laura grew up on a southern Manitoba farm, studied journalism, and has spent the past 38 years writing about food and agricultural issues in daily and weekly newspapers. She has received multiple national and international awards for her work. Laura was recognized in 2016 by the UN-FAO and International Federation of Agricultural Journalists for excellence in global food security reporting. In 2012 she was awarded a Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition of her contributions to agricultural journalism. Laura’s responsibilities at Glacier FarmMedia include overseeing content development for print, online, multimedia projects and events.

Cory was raised on a dairy, grain and beef farm near Bruxelles, Manitoba. He graduated from the University of Manitoba, Agriculture Diploma Program (Honors) with a major in Crop Production and a minor in Finance. He has been in the agricultural publishing industry for nearly 20 years. He started out as a writer and editor for Grainews and eventually moved into advertising sales. With natural sales acumen, Cory has been successful in multiple sales positions. He now oversees sales across Glacier FarmMedia properties.

Throughout the past 17 years, Doug has led teams through tough transitions, yet motivated employees to excel as individuals and as a collective, cohesive group while increasing levels of accountability and leadership. Over his career, Doug has developed and led national sales strategies and teams with success by embracing constant change, innovation, and technology. In July 2018, Doug joined the Glacier Media Group and is now responsible for overseeing the digital marketing solutions for Glacier FarmMedia.
